18th Teacher Registration: More than 8 lakh 60 thousand candidates failed

 


More than 860,000 candidates could not clear the 18th teacher registration preliminary examination. The result of this registration was published on Wednesday (May 15) night.


It is reported that more than 18 lakh 65 thousand candidates applied for the 18th teacher registration preliminary examination. 13 lakh 40 thousand 833 people participated in the preliminary examination. 4 lakh 79 thousand 981 passed. According to that, 8 lakh 60 thousand 852 people could not pass the exam even though they participated in the exam.


In a notification regarding the results, NTRCA said that the number of candidates who passed the examination was 29 thousand 516 people at the school level, 221 thousand 652 people at the school level and 228 thousand 813 people at the college level, totaling 4 lakh 79 thousand 981 people. The overall average pass rate among the test takers is 35.80%.


Meanwhile, the written examination of 18th registration will be organized after Eid al-Adha. Candidates will be intimated the date of written exam soon.


Recently, NTRCA Secretary Obaidur Rahman told The Daily Campus that the 18th registration written exam was planned to be held in June. However, as the printing of the question papers started a little late, the exam will be organized in July.


Earlier on March 15, 18th Teacher Registration School/Equivalent and School Stage-2 Preliminary Examination was held. This exam was held in 24 district cities of 8 divisions of the country from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. On the same day, the college level examination was held from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
