Class XI classes start on 30th July

 


The online application for the admission of students in Class XI this year will start from May 26. Applications can be made till June 11. And the class will start from July 30.


Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the admission policy for Class XI yesterday. This information is known from the schedule regarding the commencement of classes published in the policy.


As per the schedule, the list of students selected for first phase admission will be released on June 23. Students must confirm admission by June 29. The second phase admission application will start from June 30. Which will continue till July 2.


The Dhaka Education Board said that the results of the students who applied in the second phase will be published on July 4. On the same day, the results of the migration of students selected in the first round according to the order of preference will also be published. The admission confirmation of the students selected for the second phase admission will start from July 5. Which will continue till July 8.


According to the schedule related to the admission of class XI, the third phase admission application for class XI will start from July 9. Will continue until July 10. Phase II migration and Phase III results will be released on July 12. Third phase admission must be confirmed between 13th and 14th July.


Admission of selected students in all stages will start from July 15. The admission process will continue for 10 days. That is, the admission of class XI will end on July 25. And class XI will start from July 30.


In 2024, students can keep a minimum of five and a maximum of 10 colleges in their choice list for admission to Class XI. A fee of Tk 150 has to be paid to submit the application online.


As per the admission guidelines, 93 percent of the total vacant seats for class XI admissions will be considered as 'merit quota' and will be open to all. Out of the remaining 7 percent, 5 percent will be reserved for the children of freedom fighters and 2 percent for the children of officials and employees working in the Ministry of Education and its subordinate institutions.


The guidelines also state that MPO institutions in Dhaka city can charge a maximum of Tk 5,000 and MPO institutions outside the city can charge a maximum of Tk 3,000 as admission fee. Institutions under MPO of district headquarter and upazila can charge admission fee of Tk 2 thousand and Tk 1 thousand 500 respectively.


Non-MPO Bengali version schools in Dhaka city can charge a maximum of Tk 7,500 and non-MPO English version schools can charge a maximum of Tk 8,500. Non-MPO Bengali version schools outside the metropolis may charge Tk 5,000 and English version schools Tk 6,000 as admission fee.


The SSC and equivalent exam results released last Sunday showed that about 16 lakh 72 thousand students passed under 11 education boards.
